Atsushi Sakurai — a one-of-one tribute commission.
This 7-inch resin bust depicts Buck-Tick vocalist Atsushi Sakurai. Charles Luminary sculpted the bust and painted it by hand in the monochrome finish the client requested, using Luminary Colors.
About the finished work
The four existing photographs document the completed personal tribute. The limited palette is the defining choice recorded for this commission. The views let you examine the face and painted finish without relying on a color version of the portrait.

Plan your commission
For a personal tribute bust (see custom statues and busts from photos), send reference photographs of the person, your preferred expression, approximate size, and whether you want color or monochrome. Add your country so the proposal can account for packing and shipping.
Work directly with Charles with worldwide insured shipping — see how a custom figure commission works from brief to delivery. Each new project receives a private proposal for its subject, scale, finish, and destination. Full sculpture commissions typically take two to three months; the schedule for your project is confirmed before work begins.
Read the commission timeline and ordering FAQ. The photographs show a completed commission; availability and the scope of a new piece are agreed separately.
