A character brief can specify a costume version, expression, pose, prop, or display base. For an original character, a reference sheet helps define proportions and colors. For a figure intended to sit beside an existing collection, the desired height and photographs of the surrounding figures help explain the scale.
The production method depends on the brief. Work may include sculpting, resin printing, assembly, painting, and finishing. If you already have a model or an unpainted print, that changes the scope; the repainting service and print finishing service explain those options.
What the proposal covers
- The subject and size. References establish the version of the character, pose, proportions, base, and important details.
- The work involved. Charles reviews what needs to be designed, produced, assembled, and painted.
- The schedule. Full sculpture commissions typically take two to three months. The schedule for your project is confirmed before work starts.
- Packing and destination. International shipping is planned around the finished piece and delivery location. The proposal confirms these arrangements.

The first inquiry can be simple
A subject, approximate height, and destination are enough to begin a discussion. Reference images, a preferred pose, and any deadline help Charles assess the work. You can include a reference link in the form or send images by email.

Yes. Character sheets, sketches and moodboards are suitable starting references. Agree which details must stay exact and where sculptural interpretation is welcome.
Can you make a specific pose or base?
Yes, when pose, base, props and scale are included in the scope discussion before work starts.
How long does character work take?
